OATH is seeking to hire six attorneys to serve as special education hearing officers in the administration of special education impartial due process hearings for students with disabilities, 3-21 years of age, arising under the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Responsibilities include conducting hearings remotely and in person, evaluating evidence, conducting settlement conferences, and issuing written decisions.
